Jenny Sherman is a Ferndale-based freelance reporter and editor. Her work has appeared in Planet Detroit, Metro Parent, Chicago Parent, Waste & Recycling News and Plastics News, and currently serves as features and custom content editor for The Oakland Press and MediaNews Group – Michigan. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University, where she received the Edward J. Meeman Award in Environmental Journalism for her work with Great Lakes Echo.
